Who is Detox Icunt?

Detox Icunt is an American drag performer, actor and recording artist. Born on June 3, 1985, Detox uses the pronouns she/they. She is one of the contestants of season 5 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and was placed 4^th the same season along with being a runner-up of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars Season 2.

Wondering if Detox will be back for another season of RuPaul’s Drag Race?

After bagging the fourth position in the hit reality drama RuPaul’s Drag Race and the runner-up position at All Stars 2, the Cherry Pop actress has no fascination left to return to the drag race competition anytime soon. Detox has revealed why fans will never see her compete for the crown in another season as she has no interest in attempting to win the crown the third time.

“I’ve done Drag Race twice now, I don’t need to do it again,” Detox confesses. “I would like to see them use some of the other entertainers on all the other different platforms that they’re doing.

“I mean, I love Jujubee so much but I don’t need to see Jujubee on everything that’s a spinoff. There are almost 200 queens at this point from just the American franchise alone that are all really deserving to have a little bit of recognition and spotlight, and I think they could maybe switch the barrel up a little bit.”

While Detox may never partake in a drag race again, she reveals that she would be open to participating in a different mode of a reality show.

“I’d be interested in something that was a little more like Big Brother or The Real World/Road Rules Challenge,” says the I Like It Like That artist.

“Something that is some kind of a different format rather than just acting challenge, runway challenge, blah blah blah. We’ve seen all that before. Give us something different, make it a little fresher and then maybe we’ll talk.”

Although you won’t be seeing the beautiful and talented fashion icon competing in a drag race, the witty queen can be seen in Cherry Pop, “a bawdy, uproarious comedy about a newcomer’s wild night in a down-and-out drag club” as White Chocolate. Released in 2017, the comedy musical was directed by Assaad Yacoub and written by Nick Landa.
