Β About The Winchesters Series
“The Winchesters” is a spin-off of the television series “Supernatural” by Robbie Thompson. It aired from October 11, 2022, to March 7, 2023, on The CW but was canceled after one season in May 2023. The show is set in the 1970s and features Dean Winchester narrating how his parents, John Winchester and Mary Campbell, met, fell in love, and battled monsters while searching for their missing fathers.
A new TV show called “The Winchesters” is developing at The CW. It’s a prequel to the popular series “Supernatural” and will focus on the characters John and Mary Winchester, Sam and Dean’s parents. The show is being executive produced by Jensen Ackles, his wife, Danneel Ackles, and a writer from “Supernatural,” Robbie Thompson. Jensen Ackles will also be the narrator and reprise his role as Dean Winchester. The CW has already ordered a pilot for the series directed by Glen Winter.

The Winchesters received positive reviews from 8 critics on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 100% approval rating and an average rating of 6.9/10. However, on Metacritic, the show scored 49 out of 100 based on 6 critics, indicating mixed or average reviews. The series had the highest number of viewers for a debut during the 2022-23 season on The CW and the most-watched premiere. Sadly, the series discontinued after debuting, probably due to average ratings. So, there is not going to be The Winchesters Season 2.
