Samsung Unpacked on Sept 4 – Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Series Incoming

Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event is just days away, and anticipation is high. Set for Thursday, September 4 at 5:30 am ET (3:00 pm IST), this virtual showcase is expected to bring two major reveals: the Galaxy S25 FE and the new Galaxy Tab S11 series. Thanks to multiple leaks and retail listings, we already have a pretty good idea of what Samsung’s about to unveil.

Galaxy S25 FE

Samsung’s Fan Edition models have always focused on delivering flagship-like features at a slightly more accessible price, and the Galaxy S25 FE seems ready to follow that path.

The device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. While the premium S25 siblings are powered by Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the FE will reportedly use Samsung’s own Exynos 2400 processor instead.

The camera setup remains familiar, but not underwhelming. Leaks suggest a triple-camera system, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto offering 3x optical zoom. The front camera is likely to be a 12-megapixel shooter, suitable for selfies and video calls.

Battery life looks promising, with a 4,900mAh unit supported by 45W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Like many recent Samsung devices, a charging brick won’t be included in the box.

As for pricing, a retailer leak pegs the S25 FE at $789.99, which roughly translates to Rs 81,000. While that’s not budget territory, it’s still significantly more affordable than the standard S25 models, making it an appealing option for buyers who want flagship features without the flagship cost.

Galaxy Tab S11 Series

Samsung isn’t stopping at smartphones this time. The brand is also expected to launch the Galaxy Tab S11 lineup, with two models: the standard Tab S11 and the high-end Tab S11 Ultra.

The regular Tab S11 is tipped to come with an 11-inch AMOLED panel, while the Ultra could feature a massive 14.6-inch screen with peak brightness hitting 1,600 nits. Both tablets are likely to offer a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals whether you’re browsing, drawing, or watching content.

The S Pen will return, especially on the Ultra, but a big change this time is the simplified front camera setup. Instead of dual selfie cameras, Samsung is expected to offer a single front-facing sensor, which allows for a slimmer notch and cleaner design.

Powering the tablets is the MediaTek 9400 Plus chipset, a surprising move away from Qualcomm. Storage will likely go up to 1TB with microSD card support for expansion. Battery sizes are also generous: the Ultra might house an 11,600mAh battery, while the standard model could get an 8,400mAh unit. Both are expected to support 45W fast charging.

On the rear, the Tab S11 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 13-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. The regular Tab S11 is likely to stick with a single 13-megapixel rear shooter.

Expected prices? The Tab S11 Ultra might start at $1,200 (about Rs 1,05,000), while the standard Tab S11 could be priced around $860 (about Rs 75,400).

Samsung’s upcoming event promises a blend of high-end features and more affordable flagship options. With devices like the Galaxy S25 FE and Tab S11 Ultra on the horizon, the brand seems poised to dominate both the smartphone and tablet markets this September.
