The Twilight movies in order, are based on Stephenie Meyer’s popular book series of the same name and are divided into five parts that debuted between 2008 and 2012. Although book lovers are well aware that the films do not cover the book “Midnight Sun,” which is told from Edward’s point of view, they still love watching the five Twilight movies in order.

Storyline

This is the first film in the Twilight movies in order series, following Bella (Stewart), a seventeen-year-old girl who has recently moved to Forks, Washington to live with her father, the town’s police chief Charlie (Billy Burke). She meets Edward (Pattinson) on her first day of school and is immediately attracted to her.

Though she is perplexed by Edward’s reaction to her, she is determined to discover Edward’s feelings for her. Bella soon realizes Edward is a Vampire over 100 years old. This leads to a series of clashes between the two. Edward and his fellow vampires are drawn to the smell of Bella’s blood.

Put aside their differences, the two fall in love, which transports Bella to a supernatural realm where she meets the Cullens. Adoptive Vampire siblings- Alice, Jasper, Rosalie, and Emmet are raised by Esme and Carlisle.

Another vampire family seeks to kill Bella, and the Cullens must sacrifice another member’s life to save her. However, this sets off a chain reaction of vengeance and politics among Vampires that continues throughout the rest of the films.

Storyline

This is the second film in the Twilight movies in order series and picks up from where the first film ends and things started changing fast since then. At a birthday party hosted by Cullen for Bella, Jasper attacks her and she gets a paper cut. Then Edward leaves her for the benefit of his family and she feels devastated.

Her close friendship with Jacob Black, who joins her in exciting adventures, aids her in overcoming depression. Despite missing Edward, she enjoys her friendship with her, which has resulted in a love triangle. When Jacob becomes mysteriously ill, she discovers he is a werewolf.

After the arrival of Volturi, the royal family of ancient Vampires who create societal rules, Edward reunites with Bella near the end of the film. When Volturi discovers that Bella is aware of Edward’s vampire status, she is forced to choose between death and transforming herself into a vampire.

Moving on in the next film in the Twilight movies in order series, Bella is now torn between her feelings for Edward and her developing friendship with Jacob. Though Bella is hesitant to marry Edward because she will have to obey the Royal Family’s command, she believes she is too young to become a vampire. During this confusion, they are attacked by Victoria’s army in retaliation for the death of James, Victoria’s lover.

The Cullens and the Quileute tribe then agree to fight Victoria’s army together. As the fight begins, Jacob, Bella, and Edward flee to a hidden location. The fight ended with Victoria’s defeat, but the next challenge was persuading Charlie, Bella’s father, of her engagement to Edward.

Storyline

This fourth film in the Twilight movies in order series covers the first half of the fourth book, Breaking Dawn. This Twilight film begins with Bella and Edward’s wedding, which Jacob unexpectedly attends. Things are going well until Jacob discovers that the couple intends to end their marriage on their honeymoon, before Bella’s transformation into a Vampire, which could lead to her death.

Thankfully, everything works out and the couple travels to Isle Esme for their honeymoon, where Bella becomes pregnant with a half-vampire child named Renesmee. Bella’s health began to deteriorate rapidly as a result of Renesmee’s rapid growth.

Edward is forced to turn Bella into a vampire to save her during childbirth. Jacob appears unexpectedly, intending to kill the baby because she may endanger Bella’s life. However, as soon as he sees her, he imprints on her to find the baby girl as his future soulmate.

Renesmee is safe from werewolves because she follows the Quileute Law, which prohibits harming anyone who has been imprinted on by a member of the tribe. But not always from the Volturi.

5) The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn (II) (2012)

Storyline

The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn (II) (2012)

This concluding film in the Twilight movies in order series starts with Bella awakening as a Vampire, an unexpected situation for her but she deals with it very gracefully. With Renesme growing up fast, she comes to the notice of the Volturi who considers her to be an Immortal child rather than just a human-vampire child.

The Cullens do everything possible to save their girl by recruiting allies to prove to Volturi that the little girl is no threat.  In the end, Alice succeeds in convincing Volturi by showing them a vision of a battle where many of their high-ranking members die. As a witness, she also introduces Nahuel, another human-vampire child to prove that Renesme can too grow up peacefully.

If you missed any parts, watch the Twilight movies in order to get a feel for the flow of the plot. Rest assured, you wouldn’t regret watching them.
