TS PGECET Counselling 2023 Dates

TS PGECET Counselling 2023- Eligibility
To participate in TS PGECET counselling 2023, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
- Applicants must be residents of the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
- Candidates need to fulfill the local/non-local status requirements as per the admission regulations.
- A minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category candidates) in the qualifying exam is necessary to be eligible.

The authorities will conduct distinct counselling sessions for GATE and TS PGECET 2023 qualified candidates. To participate in the TS PGECET 2023 counselling, candidates need to qualify for the entrance examination with valid scores. Procedure of TS PGECET and GATE Qualified Counselling 2023
The TS PGECET counselling process consists of the following steps:
Step 1 – TS PGECET Registration and Fee Payment: Candidates need to register online and pay the counselling fee of Rs. 600 (Rs. 300 for reserved category). The registration can be done by the candidates themselves or at the help centres. During registration, candidates must provide their email address and mobile number.
Step 2 – Filling of Application Form: Candidates must fill the application form with personal, academic, and contact details. They should also upload a recent colour passport size photograph and GATE/GPAT hall ticket. A printout of the application form should be taken for future reference.
Step 3 – Verification of Documents: Registered candidates need to visit the TS PGECET counselling 2023 help centres for document verification. After completion, candidates will receive a document verification certificate. This year, document verification can be done online by uploading scanned images, but Special category certificates require physical verification as per the schedule.

Certificates Required for Registration of TS PGECET Counselling 2023
During the TS PGECET counselling 2023, candidates need to submit the following documents:
i. GATE Score / GPAT / PGECET Rank Card.
ii. SSC Pass Memo or its Equivalent for proof of Date of Birth.
iii. Provisional Certificate.
iv. Transfer Certificate. v. Consolidated marks memo or memorandum of marks semester-wise.
vi. Study certificates from 10th class to Graduation.
vii. Residence certificate for the preceding 7 years of the qualifying examination (Graduation) for candidates with private study without institutionalized education.
viii. Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority for BC/SC/ST candidates, if applicable.
ix. Residence certificate from M.R.O of either of the parents in Telangana for 10 years, for non-local candidates.
x. For non-local candidates seeking allotment under unreserved seats, they need to submit Residence Certificate, proving 10 years of residence in the state, or Employer Certificate showing parents’ employment in the state.
xi. Integrated Community Certificate (Caste Certificate).

The following categories of candidates will be considered for the second round of TS PGECET counselling 2023:
- Allotted candidates seeking admission in another participating institute.
- Candidates who participated in the first round but were not allotted.
- Candidates who were unable to participate in the first round of TS PGECET counselling.
- Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round but did not pay the required fee or report to their respective allotted institute.
These candidates will have the opportunity to participate in the second round of counselling to secure their desired admission or to utilize the vacant seats from the first round.
