About the role of Technical Excellence Enablement Lead:

As the Technical Excellence Enablement lead, you will be functioning as a crucial member of the Google Cloud’s field enablement and productivity team.  In order to empower both principal Architects and Customer Engineers, hired employees will develop and put into action strategies and plans as directed by the Cloud team lead.  To support our customer-facing sales teams, which will include groups from various market segments, industries, and regions, selected candidates will undertake these operations on a global scale.

Duties and Responsibilities of Technical Excellence Enablement Lead:

  • Interact collaboratively with regional sales leadership, partner managers, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to plan training, and work to tailor content for learners as required.
  • Empowering the principal architectural community through scheduled and informal learning.
  • The lead will be responsible for organising and developing virtual and in-person technical community events such as technical sessions and summits.
  • Identification and implementation of sales training tools.
  • Hosting live and on-demand training sessions for customer facing roles.
  • Remain responsible for the evaluation, development, and delivery of product-agnostic business competency training content which would incorporate a variety of business methodologies and processes.

Requirements for getting eligible for Technical Excellence Enablement Lead:

  1. Mandatory prerequisites:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience developing sales enablement for a technical company, with an enterprise sales team, or for a public training provider.
  • 3 years of experience in field sales or pre-sales using a solution selling methodology.
  • Ability to travel 15% of the time for the given role.
  1. Preferred capabilities:
  • Knowledge of leading enablement techniques and methodologies for different types of audiences and levels.
  • Experience talking to C-level executives on strategic technology directions and coaching others.
  • Experience selling cloud technology in the field to enterprise business clients.
  • Expertise in one or more cloud technologies, as demonstrated by experience with cloud messaging and productivity tools.
