Overwhelmed by her emotions, she ends the relationship and impulsively seeks solace by getting involved with the next man she encounters, who happens to be Ji-wook. They go out for a few drinks, but fate intervenes when Bong-Hee unexpectedly falls unconscious and wakes up the following morning at Ji-wook’s place. Realizing the potential chaos she narrowly avoided, she quickly departs. However, this encounter is not the last time their paths will cross.
After three months, Bong-Hee lands a job at a new workplace, only to discover that it is where Ji-wook works as well. The chemistry between them, which had already sparked before, begins to resurface. However, a significant hurdle emerges in Bong-Hee’s life when her ex-boyfriend is discovered murdered in her apartment, and she becomes the prime suspect. In a crucial moment of support, Ji-wook steps forward to defend her, taking on the responsibility of ensuring her justice and proving her innocence.
