The rising star, Rain Spencer, born in 1999, stole hearts with her amazing performances in Good Girl Jane and The Summer I Turned Pretty, debuting in 2010 with a short film called The Garden.
Failing to find affinity in her own home, with her father not being as present in her life and with her mother being too consumed in her world to focus on Jane, a sad and isolated girl finds trouble when she does coke for the first time coming under peer pressure and falling in love with an attractive drug dealer, Jamie. The role of Jane is played by Rain Spencer and Jamie’s character is played by Patrick Gibson. “He (Patrick) made it so easy for Jane to fall in love with his character”, said Spencer while talking about his co-star. Good Girl Jane is a drama film that was released in June 2022 at the Tribeca Film Festival. Rain plays the role of Taylor Jewel in The Summer I Turned Pretty. Taylor is the female protagonist, Belly’s best friend. She is a pretty and outspoken girl who can be a bit shallow at times, gets crazy over boys, is super scary to her enemies, and is the most loyal to her best friend. The Summer I Turned Pretty is a romantic, coming-of-age series that focuses on Belly’s (played by Lola Tung) romantic endeavours with two brothers, Jeremiah and Conrad Fisher (played by Gavin Casalegno and Christopher Briney respectively).
Rain once mentioned how both her characters, Jane and Taylor, would absolutely hate each other if put in a room together indicating how opposites they were.
