James Marsden’s father, James Luther Marsden, was a LexiGene Industries food safety adviser, and his mother, Kathleen, was a nutritionist. Born in Oklahoma, James Marsden moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career after studying journalism for nearly a year and a half.
