Waiting for CA IPCC Results?
The ICAI ( Institute of Chartered Accountants of India ) held its intermediate level exam ( CA IPCC ) from May 14th – May 31st across the country this year. The Integrated Competence Professional Course or the IPCC I is the secondary level competitive exam designed by the ICAI to shortlist candidates for the CA final exam. A candidate needs to have cleared the CA CPT, the primary foundational level exam conducted by the ICAI to sit for the IPCC test.
Students have been eagerly waiting for the IPCC results in 2022 and are highly concerned about when IPCC results will be declared. The ICAI recently published the results for the CA Final examination on July 15th, 2022. While the IPCC results are yet to be released, an atmosphere of hope and anxiety still prevails among all the CA aspiring candidates.
In a recent notification issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on 19th July 2022, the ICAI announcement read,
“Results of the Chartered Accountants Intermediate Examination held in May 2022 are likely to be declared on Thursday, 21st July 2022. Candidates on the website https://icai.nic.in can access results.
The candidates can download their IPCC results from the official website by logging into their respective accounts. Credentials needed for the same would be the individual’s PIN along with the date of birth. The ICAI is also expected to disclose the International Taxation Assessment Test ( ITAT ) results on the same date.
In a recent result declaration event by the ICAI for the CA final exams 2022, the first position was secured by Mumbai’s Anil Shah followed by Jaipur’s Akshat Goyal grabbing the second post. The respective scores were 80.25 and 79.88 for the same.
The results for the CA Foundation exam are yet to be published by the ICAI. Notification for the same shall be available on ICAI’s official website. Candidates can also search for ICAI’s social media handles for regular updates and messages about such events.

Candidates can download the merit list for the CA IPCC results of May 2022 through the online mode on the official website of the ICAI (https://icai.nic.in). The merit list contains data about the roll number, total marks obtained and the rank secured in the entrance examination for the candidates.
- The rank list for the ICAI IPCC results of May will be announced based on the total marks obtained by the individual candidate in the CA IPCC exam 2022.
- A typical special merit list will be declared for the SC / ST and other reserved categories.
- The allotment of seats will be in the order of the rank secured by an individual candidate in the CA IPCC exam.
A step by step guide to downloading the CA IPCC results in 2022
- Visiting the ICAI official website (https://icai.nic.in) for the ICAI announcement.
- Selecting the ICAI IPCC results of May link to check the result.
- Enter the login credentials (PIN and date of birth) to check for the development.
- The CA IPCC results will be displayed on the screen window.
- Students shall be able to download the merit list as well from the same window to check their respective rank in the entrance test.
- One must immediately download and print the score report for further references in the future.
The verification process for CA IPCC results in 2022
Any particular candidate on is unsatisfied with the marks obtained in the exam is eligible for applying for verification either online or physically via post with the specified application fee. The duration of the verification application process is one month from the date of issue of the online results. Students choosing to apply physically should send the application by speed post / registered post to the following address accompanied by a demand draft in favour of the secretary.

Guidelines as per the ICAI announcement are as follows:

With CA IPCC results being declared on 21st July 2022, students will also be able to register themselves for the next CA IPCC and CA Final exam 2022 through the registration window. The registration window for the CA Intermediate and Finals 2022 opens on 21st July 2022 itself. The exam for the same is scheduled to be held in the month of Nov from 1st – 16th for the Final and 1st – 17th for Intermediate exams.
The Institute also informed that it would conduct the International Taxation and Assessment test on Nov 1st and 3rd 2022 while the Insurance and Risk Management Technical examination date is 1st – 7th of Nov. On account of Guru Nanak’s birthday, no examination is scheduled to be held on Nov 8th, 2022. The last date for the application payment and form submission without late fees would be 10th Aug 2022. Late fee submission will be granted an extended compensation until 17th Aug 2022.
