Bigg Boss OTT 2: ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ calls for host Salman Khan to school the housemates; Aaliya Siddiqui and Akanksha Puri gets bashed
The very first Weekend Ka Vaar episode of Bigg Boss OTT season 2 unfolded with a captivating display of drama. Doing complete justice to his role as the host, Salman Khan skillfully held up a mirror to the contestants, and asking challenging inquiries that compelled the housemates to introspect and evaluate their conduct during the initial week of the show.
The episode began with Salman’s very first target, Akanksha Puri. The contestant was seen constantly complaining about being jailed in the house and her drama regarding the same went on throughout the week. Salman confronted her for allegedly attempting to shape the house’s narrative regarding the Bebika incident. Akanksha had expressed concerns about Bebika’s abnormal behavior and emphasized the need for medical attention.
Salman challenged Akanksha’s exaggeration of the incident, and slammed her for using offensive language against Bebika. In response, Akanksha justified her stance, explaining that Bebika’s intense aggression in the house demanded a therapy session in her opinion.
Later, Salman moved to Aaliya Siddiqui. Her entry in the house became controversial for the sole reason of her being the estranged wife of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Throughout the week, Aaliya was seen have conversations regarding her personal life with other housemates. On this, Salman schooled her for keeping the outside controversies outside itself.
The host bashed Palak Purswani for entering the house with false claims of being a perfectionist. He points out the house has been dirty and she has been creating a mess in a lot of corners of the house.
The episode took a fun twist with actor Maniesh Paul entering the OTT house to promote his upcoming web series Rafuchakkar. He plays the role of conman in this series hence he made housemates play a fun game. Maniesh assigned a task to the housemates in which they had to bestow titles upon each other. Falak bestowed the title “Kaamchori Mera Naam” to Cyrus, while Jad labeled Jia as “I, Me, Myself.” Aaliya playfully dubbed Bebika as “Nautanki Mera Naam”.
Salman, following suit, engaged the housemates in a similar game, prompting them to assign film titles to one another. However, Salman offered his own perspective and corrected their choices. Although Avinash attributed the title “Main Anadi Tu Khiladi” to Palak and Akansha, Salman asserted that, in his opinion, it was more fitting for Pooja Bhatt and Cyrus Broacha. Lastly, the title “Yeh Dukh Kaahe Khatam Nahi Hota” was bestowed upon Avinash.
The first Weekend Ka Vaar was a success, thanks to host Salman Khan for making it all worth it!
